What Farovil is

Farovil is a workspace for real estate professionals and their clients to prepare, share, review, acknowledge and sign disclosure documents, and to submit and compare offers. The listing agent decides what is published and who may open it.

How the product is built

Four rules decide how Farovil behaves. They are part of how it is built rather than options anyone turns on, so they hold for every account:

• You approve everything. A person signs, submits and responds. Farovil prepares the work and waits for you.
• Every statement cites its page. A finding reaches you with the document and page it came from, and that citation is what lets it through.
• Your documents stay yours. They are used to run your transaction and for nothing else, including training AI models, ours or anyone else's.
• The record only grows. Every share, view, acknowledgment, offer and signature is appended to a log. The app can add to it and read it, and that is all.

Information we collect

• Account details: your name, email address, brokerage, license number and phone number if you provide it, plus your sign-in method.
• Documents: the files listing agents upload, the offers buyer's agents submit, and the acknowledgments and signatures people complete.
• Activity: which documents were opened and when, so that listing agents can see who has reviewed a package. Viewers are told this on the first screen they see, before they open anything.
• Technical data: device and browser information, and a hashed form of your network address used only for rate limiting and abuse prevention.

How we use it

• To provide the service: storing, reading, checking, sharing and tracking the documents you choose to use Farovil for.
• To keep accounts secure and prevent abuse.
• To send notifications you control, such as new documents, access requests and deadline reminders.
• To understand how the product is used, in aggregate, so we can improve it.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for advertising.

AI processing

Farovil uses AI models to classify documents, summarize them, find issues and detect where signatures and initials are required. Every finding cites the page it came from and is labeled as AI-generated. A finding whose cited page does not exist is discarded before anyone sees it. Your documents are not used to train AI models.

Who can see your documents

Access is granted per person and per package by the listing agent, can be revoked at any time, and expires when a listing closes. Every read and write is authorized on the server against the person asking, rather than by hiding things in the interface. Documents are stored in private storage and served only through short-lived, signed links. Farovil staff do not read your documents except to resolve a problem you report, and only with your consent.

Who we share it with

We use service providers to run Farovil, and they may process your information only to provide their part of it: cloud hosting and delivery, the database and file storage behind your account, transactional email, the AI models that read documents, product analytics and error monitoring. Where those features are enabled for your account, we also use a payment processor for subscriptions and a licensed e-signature provider for signatures. Card details never reach Farovil. We will name our current providers on request.

Where it is held

Your account, documents and record are held on servers in the United States. Documents are encrypted in storage and in transit.

Retention and deletion

Real estate transactions carry record-keeping obligations. Farovil keeps transaction records for the period your brokerage or state requires, and you can request an export or deletion of your personal data from Settings at any time. We will tell you if a legal requirement prevents deletion of a specific record.

Wire fraud notice

Farovil never carries wiring instructions. Verify any wiring details by phone with your escrow or title company, using a number you already trust rather than one in an email.

Your rights

You can view and change your consents, notification preferences and profile in Settings, and request a copy or deletion of your data there. California residents have additional rights under the CCPA, including the right to know what personal information we hold, to request its deletion, and not to be treated differently for exercising those rights.

Children

Farovil is for real estate professionals and the parties to a transaction. It is not intended for anyone under eighteen, and we do not knowingly collect their information.

Changes

We will tell you when this page changes, and the version you accepted is recorded against your account. You can see which versions you have accepted in Settings.
